And now, introducing Natalie. While in West Virginia recently I had the pleasure of shooting Natalie's senior portraits. The landscape of West Virginia is so beautiful - mountains, rivers, and gorgeous old buildings - a photographer's dream! All of this complimented Natalie's beauty perfectly. Natalie is amazing inside and out. She has such a great attitude on life and it's rare to see her without a smile. I just know this young lady is going places! Thanks to Natalie and her family for everything!! XXXOOO
If you are looking to book YOUR senior portraits, I still have some spots available. Contact me at email@example.com to set up your session!
Introducing Avery, class of 2013! I loved everything about this session, she's a beautiful young lady, inside and out and it was really fun showcasing her style for her senior portraits. Avery did a great job picking out her outfits, pairing a simple white dress with cowboy boots then changing to a dress with a soft floral pattern. Her final outfit was more casual to show off her everyday look and more expressive of her personality. Using accessories like her boots and red shoes are a great way to complete the look of any outfit. Adding hats, scarves, or even jackets to create layers also make your portraits stand out. Thanks to Avery and her family for everything, I had a great time with you guys!! XOXO
|This past weekend I had the pleasure of meeting four astounding teenagers who were heading off to Mt. Tabor's prom. They each brought with them a mix of personalities ranging from shy to spirited, all of which allowed them to shine. The family members that showed up to support them were AWESOME! A fun, lively, energetic group helped make this night even more special - you are all very blessed to have these folks in your life. Measha', Craig, Honoree, and Angell - I hope you had a wonderful night - I thought you looked amazing!||
|I realize that this little sweetheart isn't old enough for prom, but she was so cute throughout the photo shoot. After I would get the older ones set up for a shot she would ask, "Do you need me in this picture?" She patiently waited for her turn to be the model so I snapped a few shots of her as well!|

OK, so maybe the thought of attending a cotillion isn't every middle schooler's dream. I mean ballroom dancing, come on, who still does that these days, right?! Well from what I've heard I think those who attended actually had a pretty good time. Besides, I think it's pretty cool to know how to do all those dances. Definitely something not everyone can say they know how to do - I sure can't! I really admire all of you who gave it a chance and learned something new.
For this young lady, dressing up isn't the norm - I'm not saying she dresses poorly, she's just more of a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl and likes to be comfortable. She can bait a hook, handle a gun on her own (with pretty good accuracy I must say!), and most weekends you can find her tearing it up on the softball field with her team. When she's not playing softball you can find her serving as the bat girl for North Davidson High School. Workout apparel is definitely appropriate for her type of lifestyle - but my, oh my look how well she cleans up!
Tyler had an EARLY morning wake up call to have her hair styled by Kelly Myers at Caron Davis Salon. It was pouring down rain that morning, but Kelly did an amazing job giving her a look that held up to the weather and looked gorgeous at the same time.
With her hair and makeup done it's time to hang up the cleats for a day and add the finishing touches...
Yep, transforming from softball player to formal wear is just as simple as this! I hate Tyler's sister wasn't home to capture her in the pictures, but go figure she was at softball!
