OK, so maybe the thought of attending a cotillion isn't every middle schooler's dream. I mean ballroom dancing, come on, who still does that these days, right?! Well from what I've heard I think those who attended actually had a pretty good time. Besides, I think it's pretty cool to know how to do all those dances. Definitely something not everyone can say they know how to do - I sure can't! I really admire all of you who gave it a chance and learned something new.
For this young lady, dressing up isn't the norm - I'm not saying she dresses poorly, she's just more of a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl and likes to be comfortable. She can bait a hook, handle a gun on her own (with pretty good accuracy I must say!), and most weekends you can find her tearing it up on the softball field with her team. When she's not playing softball you can find her serving as the bat girl for North Davidson High School. Workout apparel is definitely appropriate for her type of lifestyle - but my, oh my look how well she cleans up!
Tyler had an EARLY morning wake up call to have her hair styled by Kelly Myers at Caron Davis Salon. It was pouring down rain that morning, but Kelly did an amazing job giving her a look that held up to the weather and looked gorgeous at the same time.
With her hair and makeup done it's time to hang up the cleats for a day and add the finishing touches...
Yep, transforming from softball player to formal wear is just as simple as this! I hate Tyler's sister wasn't home to capture her in the pictures, but go figure she was at softball!
